M1 MacBook Air after >3 months

It’s still “my precious”; still actively in love! ❤

I’ve got my MacBook Air M1 more than 3 months ago, back in April 2021. The honeymoon is clearly over, but I’m still in love with this beautiful device. And she’s the best thing that ever happened to my tech life. That’s absolutely sure!

I’ve only had comparable feelings regarding computers two other times before:

• When my parents bought my very first IBM compatible (386) machine with DOS, GW-BASIC, and Turbo Pascal/C back in 1993; Windows 3.1, Delphi, and Visual Basic/C++ only came lots later, as you know (or can Google to learn)!
• When I’ve purchased a first laptop myself — an Acer Travelmate that I still have in a cabinet somewhere, and still runs Windows XP well (and even Visual C# 2002/Studio 2005!), if started. The only problem with it would be that its plastic-made chassis started to physically break after around 10 years!…

However, although I’m now obviously older and I’m probably less tech-enthusiastic than I once was, these were nothing similar at all to the joy the shiny silver* M1 machine brings!
